Sue Rivers Mack is from Liverpool and is best known on the gospel music scene as Sue McClellan, a founder member of Parchment (a gospel band well known ‘quite a few years ago’). Her best known composition is "Light Up The Fire" (Colours Of Day). She's had a varied career in composing, performing and recording and has fronted several bands on the way.
She's written and co-written most of the material on River's 3 CDs Praise Him In The Streets, Rise Like The Sun and their latest, shadow and flame. As well as originals, River's new 'live' album includes pop standards. The planned release date of the new live album is December 11th.
Sue loves singing gospel, pop, harmony and soft-rock, and enjoys the mixture of musical styles at River's gigs. Sue also works with Bloco Do Sul, a Samba percussion band based in Dorking, and is a member Walton Wordsmiths the writers' group who share this website.
She has had work published locally and professional interest shown in her sketch writing.
